ReDeck boards can be installed in any domestic setting from, gardens to balconies to roof terraces. It can also
be used to reface an old existing deck if the existing substructure is in good condition

Is it difficult to install and do you need special equipment?

ReDeck can be cut, sanded and joined just like natural timber. While expansion needs to be catered for, if you’ve worked with natural wood you can work with ReDeck. It can be fitted to any treated timber substructure using standard woodworking tools. Please refer to our installation guide for further information.

Does ReDeck offer an installation service?

ReDeck does not offer an installation service however, we do work with approved installers that are experienced in installing our product and we would be happy to refer you to them on request.

How far apart should the supporting joists be?

The supporting joist should be a maximum of 400mm apart. For further information on installation please see
our installation guide.

Will it fade?

The biggest flaw with natural timber is the rate at which it deteriorates. Timber will appear grey and cracked within months of installation if not properly maintained.

ReDeck boards may lighten slightly on initial exposure but will stabilise and maintain its colour from that point on.

We advise purchasing decking boards in the same lengths to avoid initial colour difference. Please ensure you order the correct amount of boards on the initial order.

Note, the woodgrain side of our RD15/RD151 boards may be subject to wear of the pattern over time.

How do I clean and maintain my ReDeck?

ReDeck requires only occasional cleaning in order to keep the surface free of dirt and general grime.

We recommend periodic cleaning of your deck using a mild detergent or household dish soap. You can use a pressure washer to clean your deck but do not run this at greater than 1500 PSI or position the nozzle within 30cm of the boards otherwise this may mark the surface of the boards.

Cleaning will help to keep the boards looking good and will greatly reduce the potential of any mould growth forming on dirt that might build up over time on your deck. Refer to the care and maintenance guidelines for more information.

Why should I choose ReDeck composite decking over traditional timber decking?

Timber decking is a popular choice when it comes to outdoor renovations, and it’s no surprise.

It is relatively affordable and provides an outdoor living space to enjoy, however, genuine timber poses numerous issues with required maintenance and slippy surface – why face these difficulties when
the perfect alternative is available?

Care & Maintenance

ReDeck Composite Decking solutions are very low maintenance and require a fraction of the regular care a "traditional" deck does.  Get the best from your ReDeck with our handy guide.

ReDeck Composite Solutions was formed following our own personal search for the best product to create an indoor to outdoor living space to compliment our newly built extension, without the hours of annual maintenance.

After much research, We finally discovered WPC composite decking. The low maintenance and long life benefits drew our interest and with small children and pets, the concealed fixings were a huge plus point. Above all, it was the seamless high-end finish that attracted us to this product. The deck was installed over a weekend, with no tradesmen or special tools required.

We then made the decision to establish ReDeck and bring this relatively new and high-end product, most commonly seen in commercial settings to Scotland and the North at a more affordable price.
